Budget HD Camera System

This is a review of the ELEC 8 Channel 720P Video Security Camera System with 1TB DVR. This is a wired HD Camera system.  The system comes with 4x HD Cameras, 4x 60ft cables, remote, mouse, and 1TB DVR. The system is capable of local backups via USB, Network, or Cloud backups.

The video quality from the cameras looks great when watching locally on the DVR. However, the quality of the recording suffers from the encoding from the DVR. I wasn't able to find any alternate encoding settings. Overall I think the interface and features are great and hard to beat at the $190 price point.
